Director Steven Soderbergh is working on Contagion, an upcoming action thriller about a dangerous virus outbreak. The cast includes Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Marion Cotillard. The movie Contagion will be released on October 21, 2011."The movie Contagion is an action-thriller centered on the threat posed by a deadly disease and an international team of doctors contracted by the CDC to deal with the outbreak."

From what I heard, Steven Soderbergh's Contagion movie won't be a sensationalist sci-fi movie, it will actually be rooted in reality: what we'll see in the movie Contagion could definitely happen today. So following the recent H1N1 outbreak, this film may revive the public’s fear... But well it's just entertainment, and maybe it's for the best: we should not let our guard down! Potential virus outbreaks are just lurking around, waiting for their time...
